On the Moon is an animation film. The movie holds the story of a Chinese girl Fei Fei (Cathy Ang) has had a childhood filled with love, warmth, and family idyll. Fei Fei's mother tells fairy tales about the moon goddess Chang'e (Philipa Soo). But Fei Fei's own family happiness also comes to an abrupt end when her mother becomes ill and dies. She has been separated from the love of her life Houyi (her mother), who is dead. Now she sits alone on the moon, longing for him. Her father finds a new girlfriend four years later, Fei Fei is not exactly thrilled. She desperately grabs hold of her mother's stories to keep the memory of her alive.
The girl decides to use her eminent abilities in science
to build her own spaceship and travel to the moon to find Chang'e and prove
that the stories are true. The hope is to get the father to believe the stories

It turns out to be a magical journey, which also features
an uninvited guest in the form of Fei Fei's brother, who sneaks along on the
spaceship.
Fei Fei has a dreamy mind and charming go-to courage,
while a fireworks display of colors, beautiful animation, and adventurous
characters add joy and lightness to the film. Beautiful images of the round,
white moon with a twinkling glow give an enchanting feeling. Red, lion-like
creatures with yellow lion manes and wings light up in the dark lunar
landscape.
This is a beautifully written, well-executed film
animation film for this year. The songs are amazing. This movie is magic from
start to end, really love this movie. For those who love to watch animation
movies, this is for sure the best choice for them.
